Writer has concluded 5 things from yesterday defeat of SRM FC in the hand of Salsa.
1. Nisham is getting old.
The tall hitman completely a disaster. His awful touch, weak finishing, bad positioning and no stamina let his teammates down. All these prove that SRM need to find a new striker where partnership between Pian and Shahrom could be the only solution. As for Nisham, please find another task, maybe as a goalie?
2. The defense line are arrogant.
Despite don't have to work hard to defend since Salsa failed to attack, the SRM back-four are clearly too cocky underestimating the game. Where is their humbleness that gained respect from the other teams before? But there is an exception for Haziq. He gave 100% commitment and efforts towards the match. Impressive performance! I, personally think that Aziwan need to take Haziq so seriously from now on.
3. Luqman needs a partner.
Too many tasks given for him to carry alone. He is the one who collect the ball, runs the attacking strategy, chasing the opponent and winning the possession back while most of his teammates are just standing, waiting for his delivery. Another central midfielder should be introduced to assist him and as the matter of fact, Kenneth is not the suitable one. Kenneth is a natural orthodox defensive midfielder where his strength and aggressiveness are most needed to protect the back-four. Sanjiv may be the ideal solution for this problem based on his good ball- delivery quality.
4. Change the 4-3-3 formation.
Before this, the 4-3-3 formation suits the team very well due to Nisham's advantage in height. All crosses targeted him but now, with Nisham is no longer his old self, SRM need to find the new formula for the formation tactic. Reduce crossing and use 4-4-1-1 new formation but some players need to be sidelined from their favorite position. Hmm, another problem occurred.
5. More investment from SRM MMU Cyberjaya.
The defeat against Salsa was clearly caused by lack of motivation in each SRM players. SRM FC main sponsor, SRM MMU Cyberjaya need to take risk and invest more money to develop the team. First thing to do is, form a group of hot and sexy cheerleaders. Come on board, Amal herself is not enough to cheer the squad. Find a few hot chicks and ask Amal to train them. Observe Salsa. They at least have Lisa shouting and 'vogue'ing in every game Baba played. Another suggestion is, find girlfriend for each of the still-single players. Believe me, they will play much much better in front of their lover.

SRM is a very good team. They have a very good midfield. Despite the fact they were 'cocky', the defenders did a very good job. Like any other game every defends of a team have their weakness. SRM's flaw in defends is very hard to come by but Salsa manage to make a use of it. Just an opinion, Pian should play as a winger and Faris upgraded to a role of Midfield, I really think both of them will do better in those area. Not to worry SRM defends is already good with 3, where Askar plays a very conquering role.
