The Young Cowboys Gunning A First Win Ever On Their First Ride.

First match ever in the history of SRM FC brought a first win for the lads.

Against Fire & Flames, the MMU's giant club, The Young Cowboys desperate to show that they are not just a bunch of kids. Some say they're just only 'hangat-hangat taik ayam' and some also said they are like babies trying to pick a fight with a pack of wolves. 'Are you serious? This is a game between men against the boys..hahaha..How come the babies, oppss i mean the youngsters think they can win?hahaha..' said one of the commentator,laughing non stop before the kick off.

Well, let the result answer.

First speech of the skipper, Luqman was very inspirational and had been popularly quoted by many news and magazines reporters. "This is our turning point. I know it's still early to say that but I believe in all of you. Play simple and easy pass, minimize the pressure, and show them how we defined beautiful football. Let's prove something guys!" .

Then, they responded with a performance of a champion. The youngsters went into the pitch with their mentality set to play like The Blaugrana. But as expected from the F&F, who showed that they more mature than the kids, intent on showing their true colours straight from the kick-off.

The early F&F fire continued to smoulder when his unknown striker strode forward and left fly from 30 yards with a drive that was turned brilliantly round the post by Nisham. A couple of minutes later, the unknown striker once again escaped and flipped the ball to the near post, Nadem flicked on and Zul seemed certain to sweep home from five yards out. Somehow the keeper managed to block the shot and the youngsters are save again.

But, it was the 'babies' who broke the deadlock through a beautiful counter attack. Shahrom was clipped as he ran laterally just outside the area. The 'Messiah' pass the ball to Pian and he took the kick himself calmly and forced a flying open-handed stop from F&F keeper. It was just too late. 1-0 for the Young Cowboys.

But, the F&F fired back with a stunner free-kick equalizer from Nadeem after an necessary foul made by Ammar. The game continue with both of the team tried to gain possession as many as possible. Later, the skipper showed why he was awarded as "Young Player of The Season" when he dribbled pass through two defenders and calmly floated the ball to the far post and scored.
